General
What does Real Brothers do?

We're a full-service general contractor building custom homes and doing high-end renovations across South Florida — kitchens, bathrooms, additions, pools and outdoor living, driveways and pavers, roofing and impact windows. One licensed team handles the project from planning to final inspection.

What areas do you serve?

All of South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, including Miami, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Miami Beach, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Parkland, Plantation, Hollywood, Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Palm Beach.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Real Brothers LLC is a Florida Certified Building Contractor (license CBC1270823) and is licensed and insured for new construction and major renovation. We're happy to send proof of license and insurance before you sign anything.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. The first site visit and consultation are free. We walk the property with you, talk through what you want, and follow up with a written proposal.

Do you do small jobs?

Our focus is full renovations, custom homes and larger remodels like kitchens, bathrooms, additions and outdoor living. If your project is smaller, reach out anyway — if it's not a fit we'll tell you straight.

Process & Timeline
How does your process work?

Four phases: an on-site consultation, design and permitting, construction, and a final walkthrough and handover. You get one point of contact and regular updates the whole way through.

How long does a kitchen or bathroom remodel take?

Most kitchens and bathrooms take about 4–10 weeks of construction once permits are issued, depending on size, layout changes and material lead times.

How long does a full renovation or addition take?

Whole-home renovations and additions usually run several months. Exact timing depends on scope, engineering, permitting and inspections — you get a written schedule before work starts.

How long does a custom home take to build?

Typically 10–18 months of construction after permits, depending on size, design complexity and the municipality.

Can I stay in my home during the renovation?

Often, yes. For larger projects we can phase the work so parts of the house stay livable. For gut renovations, most clients move out for part of the job — we'll tell you up front.

Who will be on site and how will I get updates?

Every job is run with superintendent-level oversight. You'll have a direct point of contact and get regular updates on schedule, inspections and any decisions we need from you.

Pricing & Payments
How much will my project cost?

It depends on size, scope, finishes and structural work. After the site visit you'll get a detailed written proposal broken down by scope so you know exactly what you're paying for.

How do payments work?

Payments follow a schedule tied to project milestones that's written into your contract — you'll never be asked to pay for work that hasn't reached its stage.

Do you offer financing?

Ask us during your consultation and we'll walk you through the options available for your project.

What if I want changes during construction?

No problem — changes are documented in a written change order with the cost and schedule impact before any work on them begins.

Permits, Licensing & Code
Do you handle permits?

Yes. We coordinate architects and engineers, submit permit applications, schedule inspections and close out the permit with the municipality.

Do I need a permit for my remodel?

Most work beyond cosmetic updates — structural changes, plumbing, electrical, windows, roofing, additions and pools — needs a permit in South Florida. We'll tell you what your project requires.

Do you build to Florida hurricane code?

Always. Impact-rated windows and doors, roof systems, structural connections and flood-zone requirements are designed in from the start, not added later.

Can impact windows or a new roof lower my insurance?

Often, yes. Wind-mitigation upgrades like impact glass and newer roof systems can qualify for insurance discounts. We can point you toward getting a wind-mitigation inspection after the work is done.

Services
Do you design the project too?

Yes. We work design-build — coordinating layout, architecture, engineering and finish selections so the design and the build stay in sync.

Do you build pools and outdoor kitchens?

Yes — new pools and spas, pool remodels, travertine and paver decks, outdoor kitchens, covered loggias, pergolas and rooftop terraces.

Do you do driveways and pavers?

Yes — paver and travertine driveways, walkways, entry courts and pool decks, with proper base prep and drainage so nothing sinks.

Do you build second-story additions?

Yes. Second stories, primary suites, guest wings and garage conversions, including the structural engineering and permits.

Can you help with a teardown or new build on my lot?

Yes. We can evaluate the lot, coordinate survey, design and engineering, handle demolition and permits, and build the new home start to finish.

After the Job
Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Warranty coverage is written into every contract, and we stay a phone call away after move-in.

What happens at the end of the project?

We do a detailed punch-list walkthrough with you, finish every item, close out the permits and walk you through the home's systems before handover.
